WELCOME TO DELAND

We welcome you to DeLand, and invite you to exhibit in the DeLand Fall Festival of the Arts! Inspired by the success of our previous art festivals, our 18th annual fine arts festival will include 200 artists, live entertainment, exceptional food, a youth art exhibition, hands-on art for children, an artists' welcome part Friday evening and $25,000 in cash awards.

Nestled in the heart of Central Florida, DeLand is renown for its Cultural Arts Center, beautiful oak-shaded residential neighborhoods, a revvitalized historic downtown district, and is the seat for Volusia County government. Nearby lies the scenic St. Johns River, as well as many sparkling springs, including Blue Spring - the home of the endangered manatee. Stetson University, with a tradition of academic excellence and history of cultural contributions, is a founder our our community. Conveniently located between Orlando and Daytona Beach, DeLand is known as the "Athens of Florida" because of the cultural and educational history and people.

For your convenience a map of the festival expanse will appear on this blog that not only includes the placement of the accepted artists' booths but also the locations of the new DeLand Sculpture Walk and directions to the famous DeLand Historic Mural Walk .

Now you have two more reasons to come to DeLand in November and enjoy the multi-dimensional feast of cultural and artistic creations.
